Why Korean Skincare

Before diving into the treatment details, I want to share why I love professional Korean skincare. Rooted in tradition, Korean skincare combines thoughtful rituals with innovative technology, using natural ingredients like oils and plants. This holistic approach nurtures both the skin and overall lifestyle. I've always believed in integrating lifestyle with skincare for long-term skin health, and that's why I'm so passionate about Korean skincare—it’s made a noticeable difference in my skin! Carboxy

Carboxy is an oxygenating treatment that is beneficial for most skin types. This two -part treatment includes a carbon dioxide gel and treatment mask. When used together they create what is known as the Bohr effect. The Bohr effect happens when the skin is deprived of oxygen, which triggers a reaction that causes red blood cells to travel to the effected tissue to deliver oxygen. An increase in oxygen boosts collagen production, accelerates healing, and has a deeply hydrating effect Beneficial for acne-prone skin. Oxygenating the skin creates an unfavorable environment for acne.

Fire & Ice

Fire and Ice facial is a popular skincare treatment that combines two contrasting steps to rejuvenate the skin. Involving the application of two different masks, one with warming properties (fire) and the other with cooling properties (ice). The combination of these contrasting sensations is believed to provide various benefits, including improved skin texture, increased circulation, reduced pore size, and a brighter, more youthful complexion.

Inflacure

A healing treatment containing Urea, Chlorophyll + healing botanicals. This treatment helps reduce inflammation from the inside out, with results seen immediately. This purifying treatment kills acne causing bacteria, and instantly soothes skin conditions such as eczema, rosacea, dermatitis, psoriasis and even burns.

Vtox

V-Lift is a term coined by Koreans to describe a tight chin and neckline. It's what many associate with youth. The KrX Vtox Mask provides a mini face-lift in less than 60 minutes. As the mask dries, it increases micro-circulation which helps oxygenate the tissue, having a detoxifying effect. It's also rich in botanicals which are high in antioxidants; protecting and correcting the skin from intrinsic and extrinsic factors. The increase of micro-circulation, increases the supply of oxygen, removing cellular waste, and enhancing the integrity of the skin's barrier.

Chemical Peels

Blue Peel- 10-minute gentle resurfacing peel suitable as a first step to most facial treatments. It contains a melody of acids to effectively dissolve buildup.

Clear peel- KrX Clear Peel is a 30% Salicylic Acid with added antioxidants, like Green Tea. Perfect for acne and rosacea

Glow Peel- KrX's Glow Peel is a gentle (2.9pH) 40% glycolic acid skin renewal peel that lightens hyperpigmentation, and leaves the skin glowing.

Brightening Peel- A 40% Lactic Acid Peel that contains a host of melanin inhibitors: Kojic Acid, Bearberry Extract, Licorice Root, and of course Lactic Acid.

LaZer Peel

The LaZer Peel is a medium-depth peel (pH 1.7) that combines multiple acids to deliver a brightening effect, similar to a laser treatment.

Green Sea Peel

The Green Sea Peel contains a spongilla powder and activator made with naturally sourced ingredients. Formulated with Durvillaea Antarctica Extract, Hydrolyzed Sea Sponge, and Algae Extract work to resurface the skin, improve hyperpigmentation, and stimulate collagen production. This peel does not contain AHA or BHA's and is a great alternative to chemical peels. Durvillaea Antartica Extract is rich in amino acids, flavonoids, minerals and fatty acids which help protect against intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Hydrolyzed Sea Sponge as the name suggests is a sponge, and from it's exoskeleton, spicules are extracted. Spicules serve as natural micro-needles. The micro-channeling effect that occurs when massaged into the skin, also acts as a trans epidermal delivery system. When spicules are absorbed by the skin, they release a poly-pharmacy of minerals and vitamins; replenishing the skin. Spicules also increase blood flow having an oxygenating effect, and stimulate collagen production. Sea sponges also contain enzymes which inhibit the growth of microbes like fungus and bacteria.
